Heather Ramirez, MSW
Heather received her B.S. in Exercise Science and Psychology from Gonzaga University in 2008, and her Master in Social Work from Eastern Washington University in 2010. Her post graduate experience includes work with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has a wide variety of experiences including Child Protective Services, Seattle Children’s Hospital, Lutheran Community Services and Kadlec working with individual and families who have experienced abuse, neglect and other forms of trauma that lead to behavioral and/or emotional concerns.
At Sageview Youth Psychology, Heather provides therapeutic interventions for children, adolescents and their families. Her services are person centered and primarily involve cognitive behavioral therapy and play therapy interventions to assist individuals and families through difficult times. Heather works with families to minimize the impact of trauma, transitional periods and unexpected challenges through addressing concerns with anxiety, depression, and other behavioral or emotional concerns. Heather is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Child Mental Health Specialist through Washington State. |
