Peter K. Stewart, Ph.D.
Dr. Stewart received a B.S. in Psychology from Brigham Young University in 2003. Subsequently, he was accepted into the Clinical Child Psychology Program at the University of Kansas, from which he earned an M.A. (2005) and Ph.D. (2008), both in Clinical Child Psychology. His Predoctoral internship was completed at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH. During his training, he provided psychological services in a variety of clinical settings including public schools, hospitals, community mental health centers, developmental assessment programs, and university-based outpatient clinics.
Dr. Stewart provides psychological services to children, adolescents, and families through the Sageview Youth Psychology Clinic, which he joined in September 2008, and his services include individual/family therapy, psychological assessments, and consultation. His clinical services are provided in the context of developmental and family systems orientations with interventions primarily associated with cognitive-behavioral and behavioral approaches. Dr. Stewart is a licensed psychologist in the state of Washington.
